Do you know why women were given the ability to give birth? Why not men who we consider to be the strongest creation that has existed on the earth for centuries?
Ever since we were born into this world, gender-based violence is continuously growing every second. Let me tell you the tradition of being a woman in this world.
When we are young teenage girls seeking to explore the world further, and suddenly we are advised to get married.
When we become married women, we are questioned about carrying the continuous lineage of a family.
When we become a daughter-in-law, we are asked to sacrifice the family that we came from.
When we are a mother, we are willing to sacrifice our dream and are advised to tolerate hardships.
When we are a wife, we are advised to tolerate and accept disappointments.
Every stage of growing from a girl and even after becoming a woman, our society has never been satisfied with our sacrifices. It is always hungry to criticize and question the capability of a woman after crossing a tremendous pathway.
Isn’t this enough for society? What else should we do to earn equality, fair treatment, and unbiasedness? And yes, of course, we were also told to follow the tradition of being a woman without raising questions. If, we do so then another element in the tradition of being a woman is added up.
When we raise questions, we should also be prepared to face physical abuse.
Wake up dear girls and women, live your life and cherish the moment. Don’t let society tell you how you should be or what you should do. You are going to be the weapon for the change. Your wake-up call will usher in a new period of female liberation for the future generation. This change will cultivate and unquestionably protect the evolution of a brave, strong, and courageous woman.
BREAK THE SILENCE!
